THE WAY OF LOVE: LEArn
During the Season of Lent, we explore the practice from the Way of Love: Learn. Although we learn many things in the practice of our faith, Learn is specifically focused on learning from the Bible. As part of your Lenten discipline, we invite you to reflect on Scripture each day, especially on Jesus’ life and teachings. You can join us in the practices below or use the resources listed to create practice of your own.

Read mark’s gospel
The Gospel of Mark is the earliest, shortest and in some cases, simplest telling of the story of Jesus' life and ministry in our scriptures. We invite you to make time to read the gospel each day of Lent, according to the schedule below.

lenten discussion group: The Last Week Sundays, 11 am - 12 pm via zoom MEETING ID: 650 209 604; PASSWORD: 681861
Ever wonder what happened between Palm Sunday and Maundy Thursday, or how our understanding of the events of the last days of Jesus' life are shaped by scripture? The Last Week, by Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan, explores the scripture in the Gospel of Mark for each day of Holy Week. On Sunday, we’ll read through the scriptures for two days from Holy Week together and then discuss them. Feel free to purchase the book and read the chapters in advance of each meeting or simply join us for discussion.
